Can I exchange nail polish?

I bought some nail polish at this cosmetic store and then when I got home I realized that I already had a very similiar color. On the the reciept it says that don't do refunds but they do exchanges. Do you think exchanges would apply to nail polish?

Don't think so. I'd take that nail polish back for a refund or an exchange for another nail polish.

How do you get dye out of costume vinyl?

I bought a costume online. There is black dye on the white vinyl. I have a party tomorrow, so no time for returns or exchanges. I have tried soap and water, nail polish remover, magic eraser. Now I have attempted to cover with white shoe polish. Still bleeds right through. Any suggestions?

If even the Magic Eraser failed to remove the black dye, I doubt anything will.

If you happen to have some white house paint on hand, you can paint over the black dye with that. House paint is thicker than shoe polish and painting over the black dye might work. However, it's possible the dye will bleed through the paint. Also, you'd want to use paint in a matte finish. If you use glossy paint, you'll get shiny spots where you painted.

I don't think you have a lot of options. If the black dye was not mentioned in the advertisement, you might want to return the costume for a refund.

i have 4 good friends and we exchange christmas gifts every year. we are all 19 and this yaer spending about 10 to 15 $$ on each other. i have no idea what to get them! and two of them have birthdays this month so im doing a combo. i was thinking OPI nail polishes and bracelets.. but they dont wear jewelry only one wears nail polish....its very hard finding gifts for them! any suggestions? thanks a bunch! happy holidays!

I have a pen-pal from South Korea. We're both 19 year old girls and we are exchanging gifts. She said she is sending me nail polish and some other cosmetics, but I don't know what to send her. I was thinking maybe something from Bath & Body Works, but I don't know if South Korea already had one of those. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Um maybe get her stuff that South Korea doesn't have
