which crackle / shatter nail polish is the best?

alexis

opi
china glase
sally hanson

which one is you favorite and why??and rate each one on how good they are.

Answer
First, I want to mention that OPI did not "invent" crackle polishes. It first came out back in the 90s by Cover Girl. Yup. And even currently, other companies were selling crackle polish before OPI released theirs. OPI is just a more well known brand, so people just assume OPI came up with it.

I own all 3, but have not used the Sally Hansen ones yet. So between China Glaze and OPI, I find China Glaze cracks better. But I prefer more cracks, while OPI tends to have less, but larger cracks. And China Glaze has a wider selection and it's less expensive. When it comes to the crackles, I think there is NO way you can say one is "better quality" because it just depends on how you like it to crack. I will say, though, that OPI black shatter became thick and unworkable and needed to be thinned. China Glaze crackles have not had that happen yet and I've owned them for just about the same amount of time. Ultimately, I'm not really a fan of the crackle trend, though.

where can i get the opi shatter nail polish besides at salons?

Julia

i really want the opi shatter nail polish but i don't want to go to a salon or something to get it and i don't want to order it offline i would rather get it in person and i was wondering if places like target have it or cvs or walgreens have it... if you have any suggestions please say them... thanks!

Answer
You can buy it anywhere you can buy OPI polishes that regularly come out with the new collections (so even though Target sells OPI, you won't find the new collection there. And no, Sally's, Sephora, and MAC do NOT sell OPI). You can buy it at Ulta, JC Penney salons, Trade Secret, or possibly some salons near you. Recently, OPI sent out another batch of these polishes. My Ulta was totally stocked last time I was there. You can also go to OPIs website (www.OPI.com) and in the top right corner is a "Where to Buy" link.
If you cannot find it, China Glaze has a line of 6 different colors of crackle polish (black, teal, pink, grey, purple, white). You can buy them at Sally's, though they might be sold out as well because they had more colors than just black. You might be able to find these online, too.
There are also other brands besides OPI and China Glaze that have crackle polishes. You'll have better luck searching with the name Crackle as opposed to Shatter. Crackle polishes actually came out back in the 90s by CoverGirl. OPI just renamed it to "shatter".
Some other brands that sell crackles are LaRosa, IsaDora, and Barry M. Also know that OPI is releasing several more crackles in different colors in the coming months.

Jeweled art tattoos?!?

alexa baby

Hello. I'm 16, and today is my semi-formal! I really wanted to do something unique this year!
I've been searching temporary tattoos using sharpies, and jeweled body art!
I'm not sure if sharpies are that safe to use on skin, even though "non-toxic".
I don't want i to look tacky or anything, of coarse!

Then I was looking at jeweled bod art. I have all sorts of face jems to glitters, to colorful eyeliners, to star-shaped jewels from the art supply store.

I will be dancing for about 4 hours! So, i'll have to use some strong eyelash glue, spearmint gum, or even tacky glue!

What are some of your little genius' ideas?!
-Thanks SO much!

Answer
sharpies are safe, and they wont smear but they'll bleed (like, the lines will get fatter when you sweat). and when i wear body gems, even near my eyes, (and its nowhere near as bad as it sounds) i use nail glue. if the gems are only small, they'll stay on as long as you want them to, and when you take them off, it doesnt hurt and they come off easily, and just put some moisturiser on your skin and itll be fine.

Any suggestions on what i should paint my nails?

Cheesecake

I have alot of nail polishes, i have nail art stuff, and jewels of alot of colors. Soooo, what do u think i should do with my nails??

You have many good ones, so I will list them from favourite down ^_^
1) prettyandpolished(or pretty'n'polished/pretty&polished if that is taken or something)

2)glitterfingers and then have like a funky design for the name!
3)onmyfingertips sounds so dreamy, makes me think of spring and wind...
4)mynailssparkle- similar to second choice...

Ok, I hope this helps!

I need tips with buying nail design products!!!?

.:.:Natali

I need tips with buying nail design products!!!?
I love doing nail art on my nails, and this christmas I would like to ask for some items to dazzle up my nails (gems etc.) Do you know any good quality nail gems, accesories or equipment, which is easy to use?

I also found many items which i want to know the uses of, and if they are actually helpful
Ok, so here we go:
1. what are Nail art/Fimo canes? how do they work? Are they efficient? are the 3D on the nail?
2. is 2mm for a nail gem a good size or a bit big, if wanted to make it the centre of a flower on my nail which is 1cm long?
3. What is the difference in nail polish and nail art paint?
4.What is nail foil for? Is it easy to use? is it more effective?
5. What is the point of pedicure slippers? (brand: cuccio)

Thankyou

Answer
Some of the new things you can purchase from this blog . Check this blog http://manicuremall.blogspot.com/ or visit their E-store

i) nail bar studs which is gold in color or
ii) rhinestones to enhance your nail design.
iii) fimo stick or slice ( good price for fimo stick if you purchase in bulk eg. 50pcs or 100pcs.)
iv) Nail Tip Guide (i think this seem quite new to me)
v) 3D Nail Art Mould
It sells many items and it offers free delivery for local buyer if you purchase $100 worth of products.
This blog offers bulk purchase discount for Fimo sticks if you send your email to specify your order. The E-store of this blog seems having maintenance sometimes but purchases can still be made through email.
I think to purchase with combined postage for mutiple items it is best to go thru email as
the E-store system seem not able to process combined postage yet.
Hope my advice helps :P

Question about matte nail polish?

If you com

Is matte nail polish just a clear coat you put over top of a color, to make it look matte? Or is it acutally a color itself..like you buy it and its matte color? And where do I find this stuff at? Thanks :)

Answer
you can get matte nail polish....its just nail polish that dries matte instead of shiny. but you can also get clear top coats that make normal nail polish look matte, im not sure which brands have this, its not very common. some brands that have matte nail polish are:
revlon
BYS
MAC
OPI
Zoya
Sparitual
Orly

Does anyone know of a matte gray nail polish?

amaris293

I have been looking for a gray nail polish without any shine to it. I want it to be a medium gray. So preferably right in between white and black. However, other shades of gray are considerable. Please do not answer with a recommendation of a store or brand that might have it or another color that you like. I want for the exact name or number of the nail polish you recommend.

Answer
There are a few options-

Manglaze makes a beautiful gray matte, Fuggen Ugly.
Here is a picture of how it looks- http://thenailphile.blogspot.com/2009/01/man-glaze.html
And here is where you can purchase it- http://www.manglaze.com/buy.html

Zoya's fall collection includes a grey matte, Loredana.
Picture of it- http://thenailphile.blogspot.com/2009/06/zoya-matte-velvet.html
And I don't think it has been released yet, but you can pre order it here- http://www.artofbeauty.com/scrpt/scr.dll/Item?Item=4141&brand=2&d=Zoya_Nail_Polish_|_Loredana_-_Matte

OPI has recently releasd a line of other colors of theirs as mattes. One of these is called You Don't Know Jacques. It is kind of a muddy grey color, but it is nice and kind of different from a lot of mattes out there.
Picture of it- http://www.scrangie.com/2009/07/opi-fall-2009-mattes.html (Sixth one down)

If you can manage to get a hold of it, Maybelline released a LOVELY grey matte years ago. You can hunt it down online or in dollar trees.
Picture of it- http://thenailphile.blogspot.com/2009/06/maybelline-matte-grey.html

Another option you have is a matte topcoat over any gray polish you have already. You use this instead of your usual topcoat on any polish and voila! You have a lovely matte finish!

I think Essie's works the best and here is a picture of the results-
http://www.scrangie.com/2009/07/essie-matte-about-you-matte-finisher.html
Here is where you can buy it- http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002G3K1TY/ref=asc_df_B002G3K1TY850618?smid=A2V1VG2SHXFCAX&tag=yahoo-beauty-mp-20&linkCode=asn

Nubar makes one that looks good, but not quite as matte as Essie's.
Picture of it- http://thenailphile.blogspot.com/2009/05/shimmer-matte-nail-polish.html
Where you can buy it- http://www.bynubar.com/store/products/V_For_Men_Matte_Finish_Top_Coat-572-0.html

Orly also makes one, but I would steer clear of this one! It gives a satin finish, not matte at all!

How to make Nail Polish Remover?

Abetters

I don't have time to go out and buy nail polish remover. I can only use house hold Items so they can be like Alcohol and Proccide. Remember House hold Items

Answer
Alcohol and peroxide will not dissolve nail polish. I am assuming you do not have any acetone, which is a kind of nail polish remover. I would suggest putting new clear polish over your nails, and wiping it right off with a cloth. The new NP will dissolve the old np.

Also, bug spray containing DEET will take it off. I have ruined many a pedi with that stuff!

Can you use Rubbing Alcohol as nail polish remover?

sparkleygr

We are out of nail polish remover and I need to get nail polish off. It is safe to use Rubbing Alcohol?
Why won't it work?

Answer
I don't know why it doesn't take off the nail polish but it's not unsafe to try as long as you don't smoke at the same time!! You need acetone if you have natural finger nails or a nail polish remover for acrylic or natural nails.Just go to the store!

Nail Art Questions!?

Nicky

I want to start doing my own Nail Art (like the Japanese Nail Art).

What do I need to buy specifically?
I want to do 3D, Acrylic, and art on my own nails.
I also want to do false nails (whatever they're called?) with jewelry/dangles. I know I need a drill for that, right?
And much more.

If you know the specifics as to what I need to start off, let me know!

Also, I need a list of websites that ship to the United States. I hope it's not too pricey either.
Thank you for reading!

Answer
Whoa. Slow down a bit, LOL!!! Each of the things that you mentioned is an art in themselves. None of them are learned overnight, not by any means. Sure, you can go out and buy the stuff that you need but you are going to have to know what to do with it once you have it. Personally, I don't advise anyone to do their own acrylic nails without first having been properly, and thoroughly trained. This means attending a school of nails and becoming licensed in your home state. With acrylics, you are working with chemicals, and there is a lot of things that could go wrong if you aren't careful with the products. And the use of a drill (e-file is the proper term actually, but many still call it a drill - whatever. I know what you mean!) requires taking a class in order to use one properly without severely damaging your nails. Even then, it takes a LOT of practice to master their use. You could go out and buy some cheapie model, such as a Dremel. But Dremels were not designed for use on nails. They are designed for woodworking, and other hobbies. A good e-file will cost upwards of $500. I have two, and both were over $400. I use one for gels, and the other for acrylics. I say you need training to use this sort of tool because there are many things which are important to know, such as which bit is the proper bit to use for a specific purpose. Also, proper filing techniques play a major role in the use of an e-file. It's pretty involved, actually. Inexpensive e-files are available, and are good for people who are not using them on a daily basis. But, even these start at about $175 for a decent model. I would not recommend going to Sally's or somewhere like that and buying one of their models. I know of no nails techs who have done this and been happy with their purchase. Its best to invest in a decent model right from the start. Here is a site that you can look at for models of e-files in a wide variety of price ranges. This company is one of the top two manufacturers of e-files in the world. These are some very good quality e-files, and other products/tools are also available on this site:
http://www.kupainc.com/
E-files are not necessary though. You can learn how to hand file, and get great results. Best to know how to hand file anyway because it will still be necessary to do even if you use an e-file. E-files are to save time with. They don't do the entire job for you. Hand filing is still needed no matter what. So, if you want to save money, skip the e-file completely, and just hand file!!!
And as for buying products such as acrylics, and gels, without being licensed, you will find it somewhat difficult to be able to purchase high quality professional products. Most - if not all major nail product companies require a license before they will sell to you (you need to provide proof of being licensed). But, I'll let you in on a little secret- many of the online sites do not require licenses, and will sell you decent quality products. Here are a couple of those that don't require a license (there are more sites like these, but this is a good starting point):
http://www.nailiteinc.com
http://www.premiernailsource.com
Nail art. Hmmm, that is a different topic. You can do that without any training. Of course, it always helps to have someone who is highly skilled to learn from, BUT if you have natural artistic ability, you can easily learn this on your own. It will take LOTS of practice, but it can be done. You can buy the necessary products for this at most craft supply stores. Michael's is a good place to look. So is Jo-Ann Fabrics, and A.C. Moore. You can look online for supplies too. There are many supply stores online. You can also find many sites that sell things such as instructional DVD's, and online courses are also available. If you were to go this route, I would advise to shop around for the best deal as there are a lot of good offers out there, but there are some which are not so great. Its buyer beware. Just shop carefully, and do some research before you buy from any of the sites. I don't think that any DVD's or other coursework for nail art is going to be inexpensive, at least not anything that is good quality. But, I could be wrong, and you might stumble upon a site with a really good deal. I haven't found any to date, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist. As for 3D nail art, it's helpful to have a solid background in the proper use of acrylics before attempting to do this kind of thing. Well, at least that is what I believe to be true. It helps to know how the products work, and have a good feel for them prior to trying any 3D work. Starting on 3D art without any knowledge of how the products work is like trying to make your own clothing before you have even learned how to sew - or something like that anyway, LOL! Oh, I almost forgot - try youtube. There are a lot of free videos there which can help you. Some are good, others are trash. But hey, it's free!
But, do not let anything I have said discourage you from doing these things. All I am trying to do is emphasize the fact that good, solid training is important, in my opinion. No, it is NOT necessary that you have it, but I feel that you would benefit greatly from training programs. Of course, it still is possible to do these things without any training. Just be careful with the products, and try to learn as much as you can about them on your own. There are really a lot of sites from which you can get valuable information. But, beware. Because it is the internet that we are talking about, like anything else on the web, there are good sites, and there are bogus sites that aren't worth anything. Just look around. You'll find something good, I'm sure!!!
I hope this helps! And good luck to you!!! You'll have a lot of fun with this.
Sorry this was soooooo long!!!!

Does anyone know about Gel Nails?

Irene

hi
I have tons of questions ..sorry ^-^v
I've been starting taking care of my nails more so i can do 3d nail art and gem nail art.I wanna start doing Gel Nails. But i dont know anything about them. everytime i got acrylic fake nails my real nails would suffer and i just got them back to being healthy. Would my real nails be damaged like when i got acrylic ones if i used gel? Am i going to have to buy a UV lamp to cure them? Does anyone know the price of a good lamp if i do? How do you remove Gel Nails? and whats a good gel to buy..??
thanks in advanced.

Answer
Got this from site listed below, there are gel nails that don't use the light...

Pros of Acrylic Nails
If you break an acrylic nail you can almost always fix it temporarily and rather easily yourself.
The removal process is simple and straightforward if done by a professional. The nails can be soaked rather than filed off.
Acrylics are very strong. When done correctly and good nail care is practiced, they can last a long time. Theyâre robust!

Pros of Gel Nails
Gel nails often look more natural and glossy than other types of cosmetic nails.
The curing time is faster than acrylics, sometimes clocking in at just two minutes when light-curing is done.
Gel nail mixtures are odorless.
There is less filing involved during the application process.

Cons of Acrylic Nails
They can damage your real nails in a harsher manner than gel nails can.
Acrylics can look fake instead of natural and they can look even worse when done incorrectly.
It can be hard to grow out acrylic nails.

Cons of Gel Nails
They donât last as long and are less durable than acrylic, even though they tend to cost more.
Gel nails are harder to do yourself if you like to do home manicures.
Itâs been noted that nail polish wonât stick to the gel finish as well as it does to an acrylic finish.
If a gel nail breaks, you may be in for some trouble. It can sometimes be more of a shatter effect than a clean break, so self-fixing a break is not usually an option. Youâll need to make an appointment right away with your manicurist. Sometimes they do break cleanly; basic nail glue could be used in that case.
Gel nails almost always need to be filed off. You canât just soak them away.

How can I nail into brick?

pinwheelba

I want to hang art on a brick wall. Can I use nails or screws or what? Is there anything special I need to do? To I nail into the brick or into the cement between the bricks?

Answer
I moved into an apartment last year that has brick walls. I love the look of brick, but it is a challenge to hang stuff on the walls. I'm not sure about putting nails in the brick. I don't know how to do it. But I did find these things called Brick Clips...(www.brickclips.com). They are hinges you put over the brick that allow you to hang pictures and stuff. Check them out. These may be easier. They are not that expensive. The only place I could find them is online though. I checked my local Home Depot and hardware stores and if they sold them at all it was only around xmas time so people can hang wreaths. You would be better off ordering them online

Does Ulta.com sell just OPI nail polishes?

lesescalie

I saw in the sunday ad that it's a buy one get one half off deal for their OPI nail polishes and towards the bottom of the page it says the website. but when i checked the website, the only OPI related products they sell are the Nicole collection which i already have. and i can't really go to the actual store because the nearest one by me is a 45minute drive ): so can someone tell me where i can buy OPI nail polish online

&& does sephora by any chance sell OPI?

Answer
Unfortunately Ulta's web site doesnt sell OPI nail polishes, But I promise you if you go to an Ulta Store, there are OPI nail polishes there. At sephora they sell Sephora by OPI nail polishes which are OPI's nailpolishes technically but made exclusively for sephora

What are some good drugstore nail polishes?

ilashes

Answer
most nail polishes are good. don't believe people when they say something about a "better formula"

i have opi polishes.. i also have wet n wild "craze" polishes.. i also have chanel.. i also have essie, opi, sephora by opi, and sinful colors...

the only advantage opi/essie/china glaze/etc.. have over the cheaper drugstore brands is there color selection.. so if you're looking for a color you can't find in a pharmacy... then go to ulta or sephora or a beauty supply store and spend the extra $ for the expensive ones..

otherwise, sinful colors is the same formula & polish as OPI and china glaze
and sally hanson is the same as essie when it comes to formula..

So I would go for the wet & wild craze line (if it is still out) and if not, sally hanson or sinful colors..

personally if i were in a drugstore i'd go for sinful colors because of the price (under 3$) and color selection, and how the bottle is so closely similar to my OPI bottles which i have a lot of..

so my final answer, in order of preference:

1) Sinful Colors (2-3$)
2) Wet & Wild Craze (1-3$)
3) Sally Hanson (pricier..)
4) Nail Hardener (those big bottles) (2-3$)

nail polish is nail polish.. some streak, some take many layers to achieve the color you want.. regardless of the price.. no polish is perfect...

if you go for sinful colors try this new color "mint apple" its just like essies "turquoise and caicos" and its beautiful!!!!!!! i have both and i find myself reaching for the sinful colors mint apple so much more!

finger nail polish?

shorty

every time i paint my finger nails, after they dry i always end up scraping of the paint with my teeth... how can i stop that.
its a very bad habbit.

Answer
Here are some things to do:

1) Even if you don't have nail polish on, always use an accetone nail polish remover before (it cleans your nails which helps the color be more vibrant, and if you try to scrap it off it'll taste bad)

2) Get a strong top AND bottom coat (sally hansen has some great ones! They are affordable too! Check out their website)

3) Soak your hands in cool water (actually the water has to be REALLY cold) so that way when it touches your teeth it will be uncomfortable and cold.

4) Put something that taste bad over it after the nail polish dries. Something liquid-y though.

Good luck breaking your habit!!!!

Fake gel nails and non acetone nail polish remover?

Megan!

So I got my nails done for prom and I totally hate them.. I asked the guy to do a cute design with a glitter ombre and he said he'd try his best. He literally just dabbed the glitter on the ends of my nails and they looked terrible, so I had to ask him to paint them all glittery. He got really angry when I asked him, so I decided to not complain anymore and just deal with it. Well, they're WAY too dark for my prom dress and it just looks dumb. I was wondering if anyone has actually tried to repaint their fake gel nails? They're done with gel powder, not acrylic. I've seen people suggest that you can use non acetone nail polish remover, but has anyone tried it? I don't want to ruin the fake nails.. I just want to repaint them! And also, should I put a base coat on the nails before I paint them? And put a top coat on over the colored polish? Please and thanks!

Answer
Well for one thing, "He literally just dabbed the glitter on the ends of my nails and they looked terrible, so I had to ask him to paint them all glittery. He got really angry when I asked him, so I decided to not complain anymore and just deal with it." That's NOT GOOD Customer Service!

Call the manager! Get them redone- no charge. But call manager, so they can make it better, or do something about it. You went there for a reason, and left ANGRY. That's not right! If you used your Credit Card, you can dispute that, and get 100% refund. They'd want you to go back, HAPPY. First talk to the manager!

2nd, if you're still not satisfied, go to YELP and write a NEGATIVE review on the salon!

I don't do fake nails, gel harms the nerve, but I've done my own nails for 5 decades. On my last Black Tie Event, event, I started growing my nails and shaped them, and I was contemplating if I should get French mani or get them done myself, since I've done that for 5 decades. I was reading my fashion magazine, the day I have to leave for Texas, and stopped @ Rite-Aid and bought Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy in the cosmic blue color, it comes with glitter in green. Galactic 210. They come in 10 stellar shades.

EVERYONE who had salon mani paid a fortune on their nails, COMPLIMENTED ME for my @ home 3 dimension finished nails. I did it 1hr. before I went to work that day, and they looked like I spent a fortune on my nails! The price? $8.99

Can you apply nail polish to gel nails?

Athom

Just out of curiosity... I would imagine that removal of the polish would ruin the nails.

Also, if anyone has had them could you tell me what they're like/ how long they last for/ any other information you have? I'm thinking of getting some.

Answer
Painting over gel nails is not a big mistake. Gel is a nail enhancement product, an alternative to acrylic or fiberglass/silk wraps. You can apply polishes over them just like you would any other enhancement product.

People choose gel because they're either allergic to acrylic or because they prefer a more lightweight enhancement. This isn't to say that gels are "thinner" than acrylics. They aren't. The material is simply lighter and more flexible than acrylic. This means that they bend more and break away faster than an acrylic will. The problem I experience with gels with my clients is that it tends to break down in the Florida humidity. I don't know if that's a problem elsewhere, but here, it's a bit of an issue. (I'm sure the fact that my clients spend a lot of time applying sunscreens and swimming in salt or chlorinated water doesn't help any.)

If you decide to wear gel enhancements, make sure you don't get screwed by a shady nail technician. Gel enhancement product comes in a tub and is usually crystal clear. Sometimes, techs use pinkish or natural colored gels to build a set also. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ACRYLIC GEL. If your technician uses a liquid and powder, you are getting acrylics. Period. Gel is gel. Literally. I have a lot of clients that tell me they have gels when they definitely do not. A technician will tell you they're giving you "gel" or "acrylic gel" nails and charge you an extra $10 for a set. Really, what you're getting is the same set that the girl next to you is getting, but with a UV cured topcoat. UV topcoats are not gels either. Gel products cannot set in open air. They must be hit with a UV lamp. If your technician puts on a product that she claims is gel and doesn't put you under a lamp between applications, you're not getting gels.

If you have any more questions, feel free to message me.

..and how long do you normally sit idle for it to dry completely after one coat? How long after do u apply the second one?

I just can't sit still after applying np - and always manage to get the nails smudged (and then hv to go thru the whole process again duh).

Answer
put on the clear polish over it which helps and also after about 2 minutes of putting it on you can gently run it under dripping cold water which will make it dry faster and it won't come off. works for me!

What are some good, quick, and easy nailpolish designs?

Answer
You can use nail art paint bottles that you can find in some drugstores or beauty supply stores. With them, you can create simple nail designs like pokadots and stripes (you can also use a toothpick or a tool for dotting; I got a pack that also comes with a thin brush at a Sephora boutique in JC Penney for about $10 if you're interested in one).

Kiss offers packs of three nail art paint bottles that comes with stencils you stick on your nails and you paint on top of it to make designs like hearts, stars, crosses, and other made up designs that isn't any perticular object. If you do decide to use them, don't leave the stencil for too long or else you can tear the stencil and the design you painted. I've seen them at Rite Aid, CVS and Kmart and they don't cost too much money.

You can even use nail decals/stickers found in places like drugstores or anywhere else that may sell nail cosmetics. If you don't have time to really make any designs and want something more premade, try Sally Hansen's Salon Effects nail polish strips. They'e been around for a while so you might have heard of them. They last about as long as regular nail polish, only that it's really nail polish in a strip form. The actual prep time may take you a while, but there's no drying time at all for them since it's not a liquid. There are various designs and patterns as well as soild colors. It's also a bit pricy; I think between $8-9 a box, but I think they're worth it to use once in a while. Again, you can mostly get these at drugstore and anywhere else that sells Sally Hansen products.

One last thing: you can use the internet for nail insperation. Google for nail art, tutorials; even blogs and places like Facebook have pages deticated to nail art. I know, pretty long but hopefully informative and helpful!

Do you think I could use 1 nail art brush on multiple colors?

Missy

So, I love doing my nails, and I have 3 different colors of the art decorating brushes, like the skinny ones, and their REALLY cheap got them at Wal-mart for like 5 bucks, but anyway I have lots of expensive nail polish that is normal polish. Do you think if I bought a brush set like this one, http://www.amazon.com/Debra-Lynn-Professional-piece-Nail/dp/B000VDEQJW/ref=pd_rhf_shvl_2 , I could use the art brushes on all different colors?

Answer
I think you would be able to, just remember to clean off the extra nail polish before it dries on to the brush :) and if it doesn't work, not too big a loss, they're not expensive. you could try using a toothpick or a paintbrush even
