How do i do water nail art on my real nails without it sticking to my whole finger?

I want to do water nail art on my nails. But when i stick my finger in the water the polish sticks to my whole finger.

There's no way to avoid getting some of the polish onto your finger. You just have to be ready with a cotton pad/ball soaked in polish remover to clean up your finger.

So, as soon as you remove your finger from the water, start cleaning. Don't let it dry, or it'll be a nightmare to remove.

You can also try marbling (I assume you're trying to water marble) just as easily with a dotting tool. It's a mess-free alternative with similar affects.

1. Pick your base color, and how ever many other colors you'd like to marble with. I usually choose a bright color for a base, and then a darker color (in the same color family) and white.
2. Apply a generous coat of your base color, it's better to work with colors that have good pigmentation, sheer polishes will not give you the desired effect.
3. Immediately drop 1-2 drops of each marble color onto the nail.
4. Take your dotting tool and make figure 8's, or whatever other marbling pattern you'd like to make.
5. Tap your finger on a flat surface to ensure the nail polish lies flat (good quality nail polish will even itself out) and there are no air bubbles.

You can find a dotting tool at most beauty supply stores, nail art suppliers online (8ty8beauty.com, Head2toebeauty.com), ebay, etc.

1. You need, any colour nail polish, nail polish remover, clear nail polish, peices of newspaper, or books.
2. Paint your nails, wait for them to dry then place the newspaper over it anyway you want.
3. Apply nail polish remover, waiit for like 40 seconds or whenever you think it is ready then peal it off.
4. Cover the layer with the shiny clear nail enamel to make it look more proffessional.

I just painted my nails yellow. What colors go with yellow nails and what design should it do?

It is just your typical yellow. It is very pretty. It's need sunglasses? by OPI if you were wondering =P
None of my pinks seem to go weel with it. I was thinking maybe splitting it in half diagonally and painting the top half white and where the 2 color meet do pink dots. I cannot pick a good color. Nothing flows nicely with yellow nail polish as a base!

i paint my nails yellow all the time! my polish is OPI, i'll check if its that same one... ah, yes it is! okay well when my nails are that color, i like to use brights that compliment the yellow rather than competing with it. darker, rich shades look nice with it. it depends what look you're going for. since the color is so vivid itself, the design should be simple. try a nice polka dot pattern or some stripes, or possibly a half-and-half look. colors i'd reccomend are:

Do I need a cosmetology license to do nail art on my own?

I have been doing nail art on my own with the colors like at the nail salons for close friends & family. I know where to purchase the professional stuff cheap too. I'd like to expand into doing this for women wanting to save the $3 or higher fee per nail at the salons. Do I need to be licensed to do this or can I expand with just some business cards or word of mouth?

Ebay is the only place I have seen them. I have bought them and used them and they're pretty good but not for on natural nails unless you have an hour spare to sit and let it set properly..it really does take that long before they are set hard enough not to smudge. Also, some of the colours just don't work well enough to do anything but dots with them...they won't drag into a shape etc.

eponychium or cuticle, is the fold of skin at the proximal end of the nail.
paronychium is the fold of skin on the sides of the nail.
hyponychium is the attachment between the skin of the finger or toe and the distal end of the nail.
nail plate is the hard and translucent portion, composed of keratin.
nail bed is the adherent connective tissue that underlies the nail, often referred to as the "quick."
lunula is the crescent shaped whitish area of the nail bed (when visible)
nail fold is a fold of hard skin overlapping the base and sides of a fingernail or toenail.
Added to these, the free edge is the part of the nail that extends past the finger, beyond the nail plate. hi im 13 too and i love doing designs myself. some easy designs are probably something like 2 contrast colors put together like half nail blue half purple. or u could just paint your whole nail a solid color and draw a curved line across it with a metallic color. maybe u can also try nail glitter. peace signs are pretty cool too. theres tons of ideas out there. and also borders has a lot of books on nail art and desings for cheap prices.

You could but here's some things to consider:

- One, you could spray paint it and THEN cover it in clear nail polish which would be faster, less expensive, and still shiny.
- If you're painting it more than one color, you need a steady hand or some painters tape, otherwise its gonna look like Sh*t.
- The other problem you're going to have is that if you want an even coat, you're going to have to paint it quickly and each coat in one sitting. If you start painting and put it down and it dries, you might eff it up.

If you ever want to take it off you're going to have to use acetone and there's a good chance that the emblems original finish is going to be permanently effed up either from that or from covering it in nail polish.

If none of these things bother you go ahead, but make sure you do it outside because using that much nail polish is going to choke everyone in the house.

I have one male red ear slider who is 1 1/2 and a female who is 2 weeks old I just put them in the same tank and I see he grabs after her. Is this safe? And is he trying to harm her or breed not knowing she is a baby?

They can become cannibalistic if you have 2 or more turtles and a small environment. They will kill off the smallest and then fight for the tank for themselves.

Provide the hatchling with a dry land area and a shallow water area. Newborns need to master the art of floating and staying underwater for long periods of time. Don't assume that they will survive only with water. Newborn red-eared sliders can actually drown if you neglect them a dry land area.
Once they are set up in their tank start feeding them. It is important to get them to eat. Start by offering them one by one all items on the proper slider diet. Note: You might have to 'chop' all of the food you offer since they are small babies. This includes chopping earthworms, meal
worms,guppies,minnows,goldfish crickets. I know, this sounds disgusting but believe me, you will get used to after a while and it won't bother you anymore.

As with adult sliders, newborns need to have their full spectrum light. So don't forget to include that in the tank. The full spectrum light will help the newborn shells to harden. Keep the water neatly clean. If you don't have a filter change the water every two days. This is very important since baby sliders are more prone to getting eye infections (that can leave them blind for life or even kill them) than adult sliders.

**Remember, you need a heater...set at 83 / 85 degrees. If water is cold they will stop eating!
TOSS in a bird cuttle bone in the water for calcium that will promote better shell growth, it will dissolve real slow and if they eat it thatâs fine

During the last two weeks you will notice that she will want to spend more time on land, sniffing and digging around in order to find a proper place for laying her leggs. At this point, you need to place the female in the nesting quarters. Try to watch her as much as you can to see where she lays the eggs. She might lay from 2 to 20 eggs.
**You should start to observe the eggs more carefully about 80 to 85 days after they had been laid. Hatching time is comming! Once the time comes, the hatchings will cut the egg shell with something called the egg tooth, which falls out about an hour later and never grows back. If they don't feel secure, they will remain inside their shells. Do not try to take them out until they have come out on their own. (they might not come out until the following day). Once they come out, you will notice a small sack hanging out of their bellies. This is the yolk sac that fed them while they were incubating. DO NOT try to remove this sac, trying to remove it can kill the baby turtle. It is better to wait that it drops on its own. Once it drops, you will notice a split in the plastron. This will heal by itself too, you don't need to treat it.

How can you keep nail polish from getting thick and clumpy?

I find that I can only use half a bottle of nailpolish before it gets too thick and clumpy to apply a coat. Even if I just bought the polish 2 weeks ago and it started out perfect, it ends up too thick to finish off and has to be thrown out. I assume it's from the repeated dabbing in and out of the brush, or something like that.

Is it possible to add a drop or two of water or something to get back the consistency it first had? Is there a brand of nail polish that is more resistant to clumping? Any advice??

DO NOT add water. It will not work. Use nail polish thinner. If you use nail polish remover, it ruins the quality of the product and it will wear off or peel away from the nail faster. If you don't want to buy thinner, try a bit of clear nail polish from a new bottle.

Do this: Once you open the bottle, put a very thin coating of petroleum jelly on the outside of the rim. That will keep the nail polish from crusting up on the rim, which causes air to get into the bottle, causing the drying out. You can also keep your polish in a cool place. I have heard you can keep it in the refridgerator.

Never shake the bottle before applying polish. It creates bubbles. Turn the bottle upside down and roll between the palms of your hands. Fast drying nail polishes thicken and clump up faster than the slower drying ones. If you use slower drying ones, get a fast dry topcoat like Out the Door.

When you apply the polish, one sweep down the middle of the nail and then apply one sweep to either side of the nail to finish the coat. Don't overload the brush, because then it will not go on evenly and will not dry evenly. This is where you get smudges.

It isn't always the quality of the nail polish, it is how it is stored after use. I have cheap stuff as well as expensive and doing these simple steps prolong the life of my polish. I must say, however the type of brush makes a big difference in application. The Loreal nail polishes work very well because of their new brush.

"goth" i believe is an actual style, whereas "emo" is a label and stereotype. the "emo" people you see are actually usually "scene" or "punk" kids. if anyone calls themselves "emo" they are 99% likely of being a poser.

stereotypical goth: wears all black, with maybe a hint of red, or purple or white, usually have black hair, sometimes they may have colored hair like blue hair. they usually wear black or bright red lipstick. not all wear eyeliner, but some do. they wear combat boots and black and white striped leggings, and dresses that are tight on the top, but usually more frilly on the bottom and stuff like that. they like to keep their skin very pale. i heard that they are well well-read. are attracted to graveyards and other spooky stuff. listens to music like The Cure

stereotypical "emo": cuts themselves, are bisexual, suicidal, wears all black, skinny jeans (guys wearing girls pants), wears tight band tee shirts wears a lot of eyeliner (even guys wear eyeliner, apparently), has black hair with maybe streaks of color in their hair, guys and girls wear black nail polish, are very emotional, and overemotional about their girlfriends/boyfriends, and when they split with someone, they are really really sad. they listen to whiny screamy music or stuff like Aiden, Black Veil Brides, My Chemical Romance, etc.

HOWEVER, i do not agree with that. that is just what many people think. I am labeled by other people BOTH goth and emo, and i dont get it....... do i fit some of the stereotypes? yes, but i do not label myself goth or emo. if you want to learn about the whole goth thing, google or youtube it using the word goth, but make sure the website/ video is a reliable source, and not that stereotypical. if you want to look up about the "emo" thing, then google it, but dont use the word "emo". use the words "scene" and "punk". if you have ever google imaged "emo kids" or something like that, all you see is scene kids anyway..... or just ask a REAL goth person or a scene kid or punk kid or something..... idk

As a mom I have some suggestions.

Eat befor you arrive.Parents don't mid you snacking but many don't feel as if they have to feed you too.

Feed the kids, clean up the kitchen, pick up the toys, give the kids a bath and put them to bed. Parents hate having a nice night out and then having to come home seeing the kids wide awake and the house destroyed.

Stick to the parents rules! Ask Ask Ask Ask, if you have any questions. Don't let the kids sucker you to let them do something the parents would not normally let them do.

First Aid & CPR certified are always a BIG plus.

Bring along a bag of stuff to help entertain them: The latest cartoon on video, bubbles to blow, light colored nail polish for girls, coloring books. A board game. These things can be picked up at thrift stores, dollar stores or even out of your own room. Be sure to show them to the parents first for approvalal. Play Eye Spy, go for a walk in the back yard and see how many red. blue, green things you can see, have them close their eyes and see how many things they hear.

What does this mean if I have dreams like these?

I have these strange dreams, at some point there was the same girl in every dream, she was pale white with really long black hair and pale eyes. Most of my dreams are violent which really scares me.
Like I had this nightmare where I chainsawed some intruder in my house and you can feel the bones cracking and such.
Another was I was in my aunts room and there was blood and limbs everywhere.
Another was I was in my cousins garage and there was only one door opened. The light was on in the garage but the door was pitch black and then suddenly some deranged man comes running out with a nail on a board and stabs my friend. I ran inside and went upstairs... I see these two people with cat heads sitting at the top and they point to my parents room. I walk in there. Nothing was there except the moonlight shining and the curtains blowing. I stood in the middle of their bedroom and I see this blue man with an aura around him. He comes close and grabs some girl and sucks here eyeballs out, all I see was the chord that connects her eyeballs. And I look to my right and in the curtains were some demonic baby heads that were just floating and they hit some other girl in the head and her head explodes without doubt. In reality after I had the nightmare, months later I see the action figure of the blue man I saw in my dream and he was holding some mans head that has been ripped off... coincidence? I'm not sure
I have other violent horrific dreams that are so vivid as well but they would take to long to explain.

I also have these dreams where I'm in a setting... like I had a dream where I was in an orange house and I had just left it. After my dream, I don't know... months later I drive by the house I was at in my dream.
Another dream was my parents dropped me off at a house on a cliff looking over an ocean. Soon enough in reality I was dropped off in a city with my friends and as I was walking towards the pier I see the house below me everything so perfect like in my dream and I have never ever seen it in my life.
Another was that I was running away from this tornado, I ran in these wooden apartments and I guess I hid in a vending machine... but after I had the dream, months later I went to get a pet lizard and I drove by the scene where it happened. I have never been to the place either, it was my first time. The flat area with yellow grass, and the wooden apartments.
Another was I was in this mansion and there was a circus in it. The house overlooked the ocean. A year later I drove by the house while I was driving along the ocean, I saw it on a cliff.

I don't know what this means, but is it Deja Vu? because I'm not in the same position at the same time and moment. It doesn't feel like it because I already know that I dreamed about it but never knew the places ever existed.

If you have than you should know, it barely does justice to the true power of your brain. Dreams, as I mentioned several times in different answers, are basically a compilation of subconscious thoughts that never "made it through" to you; fears, desires, ideas, etc. Your brain dumps it all at night, and creates some kind of swirl that's a dream. Now, with the brain's infinite, tremendous power and genius, it puts together all sorts of predictions, using some sort of ultra-super-logic, of what could/might/would happen if the world were perfect. Once in a while these will come true in De-Ja-Vus. A de ja vu though sually refrers to when you don't remember seeing it in your dream until the moment you see it in real life, and suddenly "Oh, I saw this before!" all at once...

Personally, I believe that certain people can be gifted with certain abilities, for a variety of reasons that I will not get into for fear of instituting bias. Back to the point, though, are you particularly talented in any area of education (i.e. math, science, art, etc.)? It might suggest an association between your dreams and their occurrences in reality. Normally I'd suggest that these situations are de ja vus, even if you remember the dream before they occur, but you say you've never been to these places, which I find strange; is it at all possible you may have seen or noticed the places subconsciously, perhaps having driven past those areas or seen them on TV or whatever? Because then that would explain a lot of it.

Also, do you watch a lot of movies, play video games, etc.? It's hard to make association without real life details to associate with, but you get the idea...

In either case, I'm no expert on dreams, so I would definitely suggest seeing a doctor about the issue, someone who has experience and can suggest a more professional explanation; I'm purely theoretical.

BTW: I would never use Paul Mitchell again! I was a model for one of their shows and I was given shampoo samples. I tried it once, it smelled so good! I left it on my tub, and I didn't use it again. But when I went to clean my tub, I lifted up the bottle and there was a ring around the bottom of the bottle. I couldn't clean the stain, it was hard to clean. I thought, if that's what it does to my tub, then I don't want it for my hair! Shampoos are meant to clean, not stain my hair or tub. That was in the '90's.

How do you get nail polish off of a glass door?

I accidently spilled black nail polish onto a glass door which is in the bathroom. we store all our tissue rolls and things like that in theere. i was using it but the bottle wasn't shut properly. then it fell ! it is not coming off! we have tried: bleach, cif cream, nail polish remover, water spirit , and thats it! when you feel it, it just feels like a normal glass door, it just loooks like a stain its a complete mess which looks very unprofessional!

If the door is real glass, polish remover would take care of the polish but, it might be Plexiglass, then it would not Clean it, I suggest You call or go to an Home improvement type store and they can help you. good luck.

Does it look unprofessional when a girl is wearing black nail polish?

I am 28 years old and I work in law firms. I really like the trendy look of black nail polish that a lot of people are wearing these days, but I am afraid that older colleagues will think it looks gothic or strange. Any attorneys who think otherwise?
I would only wear when getting a professional manicure so my nails will be short and neat.

I think it's unprofessional, even though I'm in a more "relaxed" environment-type office. Personally, if I liked black polish, I'd save for the weekends, or the days off...

Just my opinion.

...also think chipped polish is unprofessional, too.
