Can OPI Nail Envy be mixed with Loreal Polish?

Liz

I have a bottle of OPI Nail Envy that's about to run out. I was just wondering if I could mix it with another polish (I have a brand new Loreal Sweet Nothing's) since its a little pricey. I will replace it soon, but times are hard. :-/ Thanks

Answer
No. OPI nail Envy is not a nail polish, it is a supplement for the nails that is painted on. If you were to mi it with a nail polish, it would most likely not give the nails what it previously had, meaning that it wouldn't be worth it. Save up and get some later. Your nails won't be harmed if you stop using it for a while.

what is the best type of nail polish to buy?

Q.

Answer
i adore nail polish i have... over thirty bottles! it really depends what you want..

NYC: the nyc brand has the most unique colors, like vibrant greens and shimmery blues, pretty much every color they have! the only down to this brand is that usually its kind of difficult because the polish is so thin you have to put on a couple coats to get the desired color.

Cover Girl: Cover girl is really interesting, they have awesome colors too, like i have a deep red from them and a bright orange but i dont really like this brand either because they are thin too, but i would say CG is worse because the color doesnt go on evenly and after doing a couple coats it wont dry any longer.

O.P.I. : i dont know too much about OPI, i only have their strengtheners and top coats, but from my knowledge, they are thick and long lasting, and from many acquaintences ive heard they are the best, and many manicure stylists use it. The colors are limited from what i can find in drug stores, but they have some cool ones, like one is a light yellowy green i almost bought. also, very expensive, i think around ten bucks a bottle.

Sally Hansen: Sally is the big brand for nail polish, amazing lenghteners and strengtheners, and a variety of shiny and original colors, the only thing is that most of the colors ive seen in countless stores from sally hansen range in the reds, pinks, and purples, not much more than that for color coats though their manicure kits and strengtheners rock. but my only real complaint is the "ten day no chip" polish actually doesnt stay on too long, apply a clear coat over your job every day or two with Sally.

Loreal: i only have a couple loreal, and they are all loreal paris, and they seem kinda thin, not to mention that the brush is really wide and gives a messy job... not much more to say, but the colors are... unique.

hard candy: hard candy is a smaller brand, from urban decay makeup (which i love!) hard candy has the most modern, sparkly dazzling colors ive seen, a silvery black, an angelic tan-ish silver, i love them! they are pretty cheap, but are a little thin, and usually need a coat or too.

Essie: I have a couple essie polishes, the colors are gorgeous yet again, but i also find that like CG its a bit runny and uneven when you put it on.

Chanel: it was totally in, the black chanel polish, but i have no experience with it for its high demand, and i dont really care for black polish too much, but if you like designer, even though no one can tell, splurge!

these are the only brands i have/ know of that i can help with,
hope i could help!

When I paint my nails they usually don't last a day after they are painted
So how can i keep my nail polish looking new without using fake nails
I don't go to a salon to have it done i just have it done at home so please specify what product i can use
please and thanks :D

Answer
Do a clear coat first and then the color you want on top of that:)
Products I recommend are:
China glaze
ICE (usually only two dollars)
O.P.I
Loreal
Revlon
Those all work pretty well for me! And if you wanna do a clear coat after that helps too(I just find it to be a lot of work and drying haha).

How do you get Sharpie out of the Fabric part of Converse?

Mariannexx

K, well like my friend decided to write on the side of my shoe (on the fabric not rubber) and i regret EVER letting her do it, so i want it reeealy want it off, i tried Loreal, and Tresemme Hairspray, Nail polish remover, and washing it, they are Raspberry color converse, barely bought them like a couple weeks ago, and she painted on it with a magenta color sharpie. Help?

Thanks [:

Answer
Whatever color converse you have, get the same color or close sharpie, and color over it, until it is damp, and soak it up with a washcloth or something, if you can find the exact color, put bleach into some water, and dab it on the spot, and it will ighten it, and then color over it with sharpie. I got Black sharpie on a red pair of dickes shorts and did this for about 5-10 minutes, and they look like it never happened, although for the first couple times i wore them, it stained my leg.

What is the best makeup money can buy?

Steph D

I used every thing from covergirl to rimell (sp?) London.
Still I wonder what is a good make up out there.
From foundation to nail polish
what do you get?

Answer
Hate MAC foundations..thick & heavy looks cakey. Dior, Armani foundations & MUFE are good foundations to choose from

Blushes - NARS. Has the best pigmented blush beats MAC blushes anyday!

Eyeshadows - MAC. Great quality, wide range of colours.

Lipsticks - MAC. Different formulas to choose from e.g. frost lipsticks, creams, lustre etc..you will always find a formula you'll love :)

Lipgloss - MAC. Has loads of formulas again to choose from e.g. Lipglass, Dazzleglass, Lustreglass & Plushglass, wide range of colour once again.

Mascara - Diorshow & Lancome mascaras are pretty good, but you dont wanna buy expensive mascaras as you will have to throw it out every 3months so it's really a waste of money. Probably Loreal mascaras have my vote :) For volume try Loreals Voluminous & for length Loreals Telescopic (normal one, not explosion i heard thats crap)

Eyeliners - For the lower lashline pencil eyeliner has to be Urban decay 24/7. And the best eyeliner for the upper lid is gel eyeliner e.g. Bobbi brown long wearing gel eyeliner & MAC's fluidlines

Nail polishes - OPI & China glaze..best nail polishes out there, great colours & finishes.
