if you go to a store called Icing, they have lots of neon colored nail polish. the small bottles cost $2.50 and the big bottles cost $4 or $5...not sure. also they are having a sale right now and you can get a 5 pack for $10.00

Essence glow in the dark nail polish without blacklight?

I've just bought a nail polish by Essence. It very clearly states on the front that it's glow in the dark nail polish, right? Well if you look at the back you can see in the smallest font possible that it only glows in blacklight. That's not what I was looking for. Is there an alternative to making my nails "glow" with this polish? If not, what's the alternative?

You can always try it in the dark, just to test it out. Black light nail polishes aren't as impressive as they sound, though, because most white, light and neon polishes glow under black light.
There are a couple different choices. Claire's sell many colours, and you can often get some when they have 10 for $10 sales. Hop topic also has some, as does Julep, Icing, and a brand that I can't think of, but always has lots available at discount stores like TJ Maxx, Winners and the likes.
If your patient, there are plenty on sale after Halloween. OPI, Wet N' Wild and China Glaze come to mind.
