because i heard if you let them grow out,germs can hide underneath your nails. it that true? because im trying to grow it out so i can make cool nail art designs.

It's healthier to trim nails regularly. I never got the chance to grow mine just for the sake of fashion because i went to a really strict school, but yeah it's Summer and everyone grows their nails so that they can make cool nail art designs. Do grow them and play with em, but trim them after you're done with the designing because dirt collects in them & it becomes unhygienic to eat etc. Plus, you can make designs on short nails too that look very cute & I'm sure you've seen loads of celebs with short and cute nails with nail polish...it looks reallyyyyyyyy cuuute! Have fun :)

Can Nail Polish/Enamel and Nail Art be applied to Acrylic Nails?

I have just gotten a set of 'natural' look acrylic nails (the type where a nail tip is applied then acrylic sculpted over the top) . I want to paint them, and add nail art/designs like I usually would with my natural nails. Is it ok to do that to acrylics? Or will it ruin them?

Of course! A lot of nail artists use acrylic paints on acrylic nails. You can use nail polish as well, but it wouldn't be as easy to erase if you mess up (acrylic paints are usually water based). Even if you did use nail polish and mess up, you can always cover up and start over.

I have been wanting to do nail art designs that need rhinestones but i cant find any only ones that you have to buy online and i don't feel safe buying from some website i don't know. I tried going to walmart to find rhinestones but those are to big for my nails. Where are some other places i can buy lots of nail rhinestones?

I currently wear Acrylic nails with 3D nail art designs and I like to change them from time to time. But my favorite nail glue has discontinued! So I had to go with another glue. How can I remove my acrylics without damaging the nail art on them?

soak your nails for 30 min with warm water.
