What color of nail polish should I wear with a black formal dress?

The dress is black, with a bright turquoise blue ribbon across the top. It is classy, and I plan on wearing it to a formal dinner and prom.

I could do my nails in french tips or blue to match the ribbon. Thoughts? Any other suggestions?
