It's really heartening to notice that many [most] muslims these days are MOSTLY interested in knowing about many common sense answers. We are NOT interested in the Fundamental Issues in our lives; but in subsidiary things only,
HARAM in simple words means anything / everything FORBIDDEN by Allah SWT in the Quran.
There are HUNDREDS of things DEEDS & ACTIONS, in the Quran well narrated by Allah SWT to be Forbidden by believers and total submitters ( those in Islam and those are Muslims).
PLZ Study Quran in you own mother language (translations by many experts are available thesedays in Internet), with narrations by many experts.
After in depth study, you analyze for common sense judgment for the RIGHTEOUSNESS / RIGHT and WRONG, Haram and Halal (Forbidden and Permisible)Stand up at night ALONE with love and sincerity in prayers to Allah SWT for Right Answers / Guidance for any question you may have. InshaAllah you will be guided by Him.
As for above 4 items mentioned in your Question > our ANSWER is:
NOT HARAM; exception is ONLY if the ingredients of the Dying and Nail Polish contains Haram substances - then it would definitely be haram.

Halal nail polish in Shiite Islam?

Salam alikum sisters .... I really wanna wear nail polish and I heard of halal nail polish that let's water vapors pass through the paint and onto the nails to cleanse them during wudu. If you have done additional research on that nail polish and have worn it please let me know. Also do you know where I can get it?
