What nail polish base coats do you recommend?

I was using Beauty Secrets base coat from Sally's and good nail polishes such as Sally Hansen and L'oreal. I also use Beauty Secrets and Rush top coats. I've noticed that the polish will peel of in a few hours. What base coats do you recommend?

Gelous Nail Gel Coat.
It strengthens your nails, and makes the top coats go on so smoothly. It also prevents chipping wonderfully!
I highly reccomend it.

What are some "must have" nail polish colors?

I have been buying the most random goddamn colors of nail polish based on if they appeal to me as being a "pretty color" and not on the basis they look good on my nails or match anything that I wear.

So instead of just RANDOMLY BUYING THINGS I'd like some opinions of colors that are "necessary" to have. This means they go good with everything or can be utilized in a variety of different ways.

I love OPI very much, but normally, I only buy the mini packages. I have around 70 bottles of them.


For me, I like bold & bright color as well as neon color and glitter. I don't really like nude or soft color for my nail polishes.



If you wnt "colors that are "necessary" to have' it's really depends on your charcateristic and your personality.
