More specifically, 1957?
Would girls have worn any kind of jeans? Or shorts of any kind? (Were tank tops invented then? If so, would women have worn them?) I know if they did, it would certainly not be like how ours look nowadays.
Would they ever owned/driven/rode a motorcycle?
Any other info, like hairstyles would be great!

Most of the time girls wore skirts or dresses. They would have worn a nice blouse with a skirt, no tanks or pants:P

Most women in the 50's kept their hair short, but there are hairstyles you can do to mimic 50's hair. I have included them below.

Jewelry was simple, pearl studs and a pearl necklace.

Most importantly, use good manners . Go for a natural, classic look. Clear nail polish, simple NOT trendy hair.A vintage 50s look is ideal if you have no money and need to look classy.You can pick up a knee length pencil skirt and blouse cheap.And its harder to tell its not high quality if its plain style.Pearls,pumps,impeccable manners : cant go wrong :)
