HiHi!

I know about the clear nail polish alternative, but are there any substances found around the home which could help remove old nail polish? Like soap, detergent, or even rubbing alcohol?

Answer
99% citric acid will remove it quite well. Also, men's British Sterling is faster than nail polish remover. Bleach will also take it off.

What in your opinion is the prettiest nail polish colour?

What nail polish have you used that's a really pretty colour. Please give me the name and if possible a link. Thank you!

Answer
i like the classics; french manicure or fire engine red. since we've already mentioned the former, let's focus on the latter. it works with everything except sweatpants. it looks very feminine and most men love it (not that you're doing it for them obviously). you will smile every time you look down at your fingers :) you'll be inclined to wear pretty rings or gesture more :D

and if you really hate red, try violet. you'll get some of the punch of red without the vampiness. but be careful when selecting the shade, as the wrong one can make your skin look sallow (depending on skin tone obviously). what is your skin tone, anw? experiment to find the right colour for you! :)
